I have never had a major problem with line fading, however, I have
had some cels that haven't quite lived up to par...things that
sort of made me a little disappointed. (colors not what they
appeared to be, turned out image was cropped so image on cel is actually
highly off center, several more...) However, given that most
of the things I have gotten from that dealer have been good, I just
called it experience or luck of the draw and lived with it.

Dealers can almost never give enough information on a cel. With line
fading, often you just have to know that some cels will undoubtedly
suffer from this problem (early season sailormoon for one.) I guess
you have to factor that in.

If you really feel like doing something, you can make a request
to all dealers to please make a note when a problem like this
occurs. If they take your advice, it's good. If not, there is not
much you can do about it.

Most dealers say all sales are final so trying to return it is probably
not a viable solution. You can always try to resell it if you really
dislike it.

I guess it's just sort of a risk you have to take when buying off the
internet.
