I try not to mention it, because on a couple of other anime message boards I once frequented, Hated Robotech! I got flamed just for metioning that I had watched the series :( That was a very sad scene, and shocking after watching Bugs Bunny get blown up thousands of times only to see him fine two scenes later :) I also was touched when Ricks wingman Ben got wasted. I always like the big guys that never have a problem laughing (reminds me of me I guess), and Bens death hit a cord with me. I'd say between Robotech and Naussica they were what got me into anime nearly 15 years ago (man! has it been that long?)
