I actually remember that! I was a little kid and remember crying over that, come to think of it a long time ago I cried at the ending of the Little Mermaid. In Fushigi Yuugi I got a few tears over Nuriko but Hotohori's didn't make me cry. His ending wasn't made very well in my opinion and what's up with his last words being Miaka?!? That still upsets me...
