The first OAV of Fushigi Yuugi consisted of three Episodes.
I don't know about the rest of you, but the first OAV was very
bad, and did not have the original feel of the TV series. Only
get it for the Omake....
In the second OAV, the dels was to find all of Tamahome's memory
stones so that Taka (Tamahome's reincarnation) could have the memories
of Tamahome. Of course, there's a bad guy (Tenku) in the way, but
things work out. . . The second OAV is based on the actual manga, while
the first OAV is not.
OAV cels are much easier to find than TV cels, plus OAV cels are quite a bit
less expensive.
