Just came back in Anime Jungle in Los Angeles,
CA!
Everyone in and around the Los Angeles area
should make the effort to visit the store in
Little Tokyo (downtown LA) within the next
couple of weeks. The manager there (Tetsu)
desperately needs to clear room for new
inventory and is holding a MAJOR clearance sale.
When I stopped by today I was so blown away by
the discounts (40-70% off or more!) that I was
actually afraid that the store was closing
down! Happily that's not the case but the fact
remains that there is a ton of stuff you won't
be able to find anywhere else for pocket change
prices. (Tons of bargain bins with 3 items for
$5/$10 too!)
Anyone interested in rare figurines, one-of-a-
kind plushies, out-of-print models, import
DVD/LD's and soundtracks, and anime posters must
check out the store!
And yes, CEL COLLECTORS, they not only have a
display full of cels for sale but they also are
selling off used cel books (regular & oversized)
for dirt-cheap! So you KNOW that this is a true
clearance!
I'm not an employee at the store, but Tetsu has
always been a good friend of mine, and so I
wanted to help spread the word. And for those
of you who have visted their booth before at an
anime convention, you also know that they
consistently have the best prices on practically
all kinds of Japanese anime imports compared to
all the other vendors on the floor.
And now, believe it or not, the same people are
having a clearance sale! When you have that
along with the chance to visit the sights and
sounds of Little Tokyo, there is no reason why
you shouldn't make the trip if you're a local.
And if you can't make it there, it never hurts
to call and ask about their inventory. They
have stuff from the 1960's all the way to today.
