On the other hand, so many of us sell to others
who look here that perhaps we hesitate to say:
"WOOOO! This went for three times what I paid for
it!" because the buyer is probably reading. ^_~~
Anyhow, usually when I sell, it's something I
intended to sell anyway. Freebies, leftovers from
cel lots, etc. While the money usually does go to
fund something cel related, the one item wasn't
specifically sold to buy the item that gets
bought. . . If that makes any sense. ^_^;;
But I suppose the closest thing I have to the
situation you're looking for is when I recently
sold a few things on Ebay. I don't know why, but
I really didn't expect to get much. Then a few of
the auctions suddenly SKYROCKETED. Without naming
numbers, they did go for WELL MORE than I paid --
decently enough more that I was able to go on a
small shopping spree at Anime Museum. One of the
more fun things I bought with my newfound spare
change was this Saiyuki genga set of Gojyo
taunting Goku.
This was acutally only a drop in the bucket. The
entire order was well over $300 -- a FUN splurge
I wouldn't have been able to make excuses for
without what I pulled in from the auctions. *^_^*
