If you're on LJ, you may have seen this already.

Okay, I'm gonna try to write coherently but I'm
in a bit of a panic. Please be understanding of
my idiocy.

I'm desperately seeking a friend/contact located
in Japan. Someone who would be willing to help me
out of a bit of a bind I've managed to get myself
into.

I recently employed a deputy service to bid for
me in an auction on Yahoo! Japan (for the first
Wish List cel I've ever found!), however for some
reason they failed to place my bid. So at the
last minute, I placed the bid myself. However I
am not located in Japan and the seller does not
ship internationally.

If anyone has or knows someone who has a Japanese
address and would be willing to have the item
shipped there, I would send a self-addressed
envelope with postage paid so that the item could
be easily redirected to me. I'd also be willing
to discuss other forms of reimbursement for the
help.

It's a dumb situation. Maybe someone out there
has had similarly ludicrous experiences and might
take pity. I've been breaking my brain trying to
come up with a solution and this is the only
thing I've been able to think of. What is the
Internet for, after all?

I would be so grateful if anyone would respond.
Please email me if you or anyone you
know might be able to help. I don't know what
else to do.

Thank you.

Jordan, your friendly neighborhood baka
extraordinaire
