Just wondering as so many copy setteis, copy WR
and other show's copy sketches are being sold
everywhere.
Do they have any value? I mean, I haven't had
any before (when I was in Tokyo last summer, I
was offered DNAngel settei "copy no copy" at
Mandarake though), but a copier's black lines on
a sheet of paper isn't quite... unique?
As for now, concerning copy sketches, I'm an
ignorant, so forgive me for asking, without any
intention to offend: couldn't anyone just go and
copy their CG show sketches and sell them? I
mean, does an animator's fingerprint on the copy
really make it that more valuable than a copy
shop employee's finger print?
But if that's the case, won't people and studios
soon go print screencaps on acetate sheets from
their home printers and sell them as "copy cels"?
Please make me smarter.
Meep
