No, I don't mean a new online gallery. My Campus
Library is sponsoring an actual public exhibition
of some of my paper materials (no cels). It's not
very grand, only two cases plus a pan background
in the entranceway, but it gives people a chance
to see exactly what a layout, rough, genga, douga,
shuusei, and production background look like.
Already it's attracting local attention. The
local paper sent a reporter and photographer, who
snapped Princess Emeraude from several angles
(which tickled her immensely, though she's still
pretending to cry into her pillow).
It will be open until Sunday, October 3, so if
anyone on this message board is coming past the
Hazleton, Pennsylvania, area, try to pull off
Interstate 81 long enough to have a look. The
Penn State Campus is only 100 yards from the
Interstate exit, and there's public parking right
opposite the Library. And if you give me a little
warning, I'll come over and say howdy. |
