Hello, I am a big fan of anime cels and always go
to the Mandarake LA store
ever since their Grand Opening and was impressed
with the vast selection of
fine cels. I have also met and was helped with
the President of Mandarake and
he was very helpful in things that I needed. I
have to say they have the most
extensive line of products and merchandise that
would make a kid drool at a
candy store. I would like to reply in regarding
negative comments and false
accusations made to Mandarake on various web
sites.
There have been several comments made on
Mandarake stating that they are
selling stolen items at the store and other false
accusations. I would like
to reply to Mr. Rick Alonzo's statement about his
despise because he has the
license of copyrights to VHD. Here is my response:
Why is he doing negative campaigning of Mandarake
when he is a customer there
and buys cels along with his friend Heather?
Why is he doing negative campaigning when Rick
used to sell Akira,
Evangelion, Ghibli to US cel collectors even
though he knows that these cels
were stolen but now he makes negative rumor on
another cel dealer just
because he now carries copyright of VHD?
Why is he doing negative campaigning when Rick
himself was rumored that he
had sold Ah My Goddess fake Hanken cel to
Mandarake Japan saying it is
limited Hanken cel in US market?
The reason why I have decided to write to this
board is I just could not
understand
how selfish these people are and trying to ruin
cel market just to protect
their own profits. I know that a lot people check
this animanga forum to pick
new information or to discuss about this great
hobby but it is not proper way
to make negative comment about cel dealers to
bring the image of anime cel.
All I have to say is that PLAYERHATERS will
always hate on others who is
doing well... oh well, my response is :
MANDARAKE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PURCHASE RARE AND
FINE CEL AND WILL KEEP ON
PURCHASING FROM THE BEST AND THE LARGEST ANIME
RETAIL STORE IN THE PLANET.
