Well, depends on OAV or tv.
OAV larva, let's just say I'd rather save the 
money to buy a car.  But then it's so rare the 
only one thjat I saw was for sale at ANime Taro a 
few weeks ago.
BuT TV is normally around $300 or more for the 
high ends.  And about 100 for the less impressive 
ones.
