In one of my favorite scenes from the series, 
Shiro fights to keep on living. His suit out of 
commission and Norris' suit holding him hostage 
in order to keep the 08th Team at bay, Shiro 
realizes for the first time that he is scared of 
dying. In a frantic struggle, Shiro gets his suit 
running and yells out "I'M GONNA LIVE! AND I'M 
GONNA MARRY AINA! AND WE'RE GONNA GROW OLD 
TOGETHER!" Norris is like a father to Aina, and 
for the first time he realizes that the man he is 
trying to kill is her love. Truly a heart-
wrenching scene to watch.
