It would depend on whether the torn pieces were 
part of the image or not. If there were chunks 
taken out that didn't affect the image, I 
wouldn't tape them back on. If the image was torn 
into pieces, I would find a subtle way to put it 
back together. Hell, enough damage has already 
been done, so I don't see problem with taping it 
back up.
