Just in case you weren't aware..

After 9/11 there has been increased security 
measures and you can no longer go Inside the 
Statue of Liberty at all =(

Well at least you dont have to wait 2+ hours 
ofclimbing windy staircases to view NYC from the 
Statue's Crown/Torch for 3 secs anymore =(

You basically can only view it from the outside- 
there are plenty of cool places to view it from 
this view =)

I know you can still go the the base of the 
statue and walk around outside but that about it..

sorry to disappoint ya if you didnt know
I didnt know it myself really til i went to the 
South Street Seaport this past weekend and was 
told this...
