Domo-kun is a television network mascot. Kindof 
like the NBC peacock. It is for the station NHK 
in japan. All there is for this thing was 
some "shorts" like commercials or something. 
Though there is a little story about him. In an 
egg- he rolled down into a rabbit's hole. When 
his egg hatched - the first thing he saw was 
television - and was immediatly addicted. (ha!) 
So all he says is "domo", and lives with this 
rabbit-guy. He ends up having this girlfriend 
that is a bear, and she constantly talks on her 
cel phone and barely pays attention to domo-kun. 

The reason for the egg is that he's maybe a long-
lost descendant of a dinosaur... blah blah. 

So yeah. That's what I was told.. by my boss.
