Yeah, I scan them in parts and then piece them 
together.  In paint shop, I scan the individual 
parts, crop off similar areas between parts 
leaving a little overlap, expand the canvas on 
one of the parts, and then cut-and-paste.  I also 
have a lot of memory (768MB), so I don't have to 
shrink my 400-600dpi scans before cutting-and-
pasting.  I then shrink the image using ACDSee's 
foto canvas lite utility (also not a problem due 
to having a lot of memory).
