Have there been decent G1 TF cels at Botcon? At 
the last Botcon, the only cels were those stupid 
cels at the silent auction? I haven't been to 
that many Botcons, but the ones I've been to 
haven't had any decent cels. 

IMO, the best luck for TF cels are Van Eaton 
Galleries or Art-Toons. Hopefully, they'll get 
more Transformers cels in. They've both had kick 
a** TF cels before, and neither of them have 
charged 2K for them, normally TF cels cost around 
$300-$400. I bought my, including a few for TFTM 
for A LOT less. 

When I first started collecting, Transformers 
cels weren't hard to find at all, it was Jem and 
GI Joe that were a lot rarer. These cels seem to 
turn up in waves. And there are A LOT of TF cels 
in the hands of private collectors. A lot more 
than the TF fans think. Eventually someone will 
auction off a collection, they're worth too much 
money. 

Honest to goodness, I think it's rediculas that a 
TF cel would ever cost 2K. There's just too many 
of them around. I collect another series I 
thought there were only a handfull of cels left, 
as it turns out there's boxes and boxes of them.
