The place is amazingly huge! And it takes about
2 days to walk around the exhibit hall
or 'dealers room' as some call it.
There didn't used to be a whole lot of Japanese
animation at the con, but every year there is
more and more. Last year I'd say it was about
half and half. Many cel dealers attend SDCC:
Nichiebi, Anime Ed, Ed Noonchster, Anime Link,
Usagi's house, and some other small dealers.
There are always a ton of interesting panels and
workshops to attend, along with movie and anime
viewings. Tons of american animation
professionals attend each year... people like
Paul Dini and Bruce Timm from Warner Brothers, J.
Scott Campbell of Danger Girl fame, Todd
Mcfarlane will be there this year, Sam Raimi was
there last year, and we got to be the first to
see the Spiderman trailer, and a few rough
snippets from the film! Overall it is a fabulous
experience. It is the biggest con I have ever
been to, and it's a blast!
Hope that information helps a little! Feel free
to email me if you have any other questions.
Tah!
