It's from a movie called "They Were 11", which is
old but not ancient. (I'm not sure how old it is,
Wndrkn might know. . . ?)
Since it's on a fairly small part of the cel -
and one that is one solid color - I was seriously
thinking about using some alcohol to strip that
small piece of the cel, then repaint it. I don't
want to do that, but I've been since told in
private e-mail that mildew likely will spread.
Trying to keep it dry is a nice thought, but I'm
in humid New England and we do not have any kind
of air conditioning in the house. I'm sure that
even a cel bag won't keep it dry enough.
I imagine alcohol will kill mildew. For a test, I
took some to my shower curtain (gee, and I never
thought I would need the mildew on my shower
curtain! ^_^;) and it seems to have disposed of
it nicely. Although. . . It will be interesting
to try and explain my little test to my husband
if our shower curtain suddenly dissolves. ^_^;
Thoughts anyone?
