I don't think it does because all the show new template does is
search the datebase for and cels wihere the date stamp is less than
24 hours and then sort and list them. This is done by server and if
keep track watched this template chances are it would update when
someone placed an item in their cart.....[maybe]

Not to sure how keep track adjusts because apart uploading the cel
picts we don't adust  any other files on the server.
