It's been bugging me, I have to know how they're 
done.  I saw the shadow girls utena cel up for 
offers in an earlier message, and I had to ask.

MOST of the time, if you see someone's shadow, 
it's transparent, and a lot of the time, it's 
transparent over a painted background (like 
someone standing in a field).  

So... is it airbrushed?  Is it a special effects 
layer?  The shadow girls looked completely black, 
but (and I could be wrong) weren't they usually 
transparent/gray projected onto that wall? 

It's driving me nuts >.<
