Actually, I saw this presentation on TV and they 
were showing some old cels used in making that 
cartoon.  One black arm no bigger than an inch 
sold on auciton for more than $600 and that show 
was aired more than 10 years ago on TV!! 

Cels are just like paintings.  They will preserve 
so long as you take the necessary steps to store 
them properly.  That is why great paintings are 
always in frames!  Locks out dust and UV light.
