I was going to do this as a show me thread ("show
me your cels that beat the odds"), but there
seems to be a lot of those lately AND, i hope
that no one else has gone through a similar (and
scary) situation. ^^;
Here's my little story.
I won (through a deputy service) an auction on YJ
at the end of June. I was excited because it
stayed at the opening price, which was excellent
for the 2 cels (in my opinion). So I was excited.
*cheer*
I anticipated the deputy services email, but I
also had to go to california soon after. I left
for CA without the email about the auction, my
total.. etc. I had my friend check my email while
I was gone for a week and a half. By the time I
came from that trip, I had forgotten all about
that email and auction (weird- i know!!).
At the beginning of august I recieved an email
from the deputy service telling me that: "the
payment was never recieved, please send payment
or be added to the blacklist". YIKES! I told the
deputy service that I had never recieved the
email about what my total was. SO, it was sent,
and I paid immediatly through paypal.
Next I recieved an email saying that my payment
was recieved, and that my package was sent. It
included the tracking number for the package.
So i waited...
and waited...
I checked the tracking number on usps.com several
days later, and it said it was "not yet entered".
So I emailed the D.S and asked where my package
was.
"I realized later that I was missing a package
when I mailed out all other items. Please let me
find your package". (so basically, my package
wasn't mailed yet...)
So i waited, figuring it would only take a little
while for the package to be found. I emailed back
ater a couple days.
"I cannot find your package, I am sorry. I will
continue looking, but if you need your money I
can refund it". (so, my package is LOST O.o)
I emailed several times about the status of my
cel order through the entire month of august. My
best friend was even giving me the "it's not
going to happen Tara, so get over it" look. :/
Then, one fatefull day. I recieved an email.
"I found your package! It was in the trash! I
will send it tommorow! ^_^"
*cough* THE TRASH?? It would have been wiser that
this business person did not reveal the location
of the cel package when he found it. Because that
definatly sealed the deal on MY future business
with this D.S. (Plus this D.S. has screwed up
twice with me in the past, and with friends of
mine).
I am not here to blast the D.S (hence my lack of
saying who it is), however it is a little scary
story to go along with my newly acquired cels.
They arrived last week... finally.. yay!!
Thanks for reading! Share your scary stories if
you have em too! ^^
