i don't find the situations to be different at 
all except for the fact that in this instance, 
the person is the one posting the sale and not 
someone else. i do agree that they should not 
post everyday like that, but no one has even 
said anything about it. since you say that that 
is the real problem, how come no one just 
mentions to him not to post everyday, instead of 
bashing him about the price?

and i guess i can't argue anymore on the price; 
we don't know his reason for asking such 
a "high" price, but no matter, people are going 
to continue to bash it anyways without an 
explanation...
