My company, quite out of the blue, laid off 15-
20% of our workforce today, including a manager 
who'd been with the company from the very 
beginning. Which has me shell-shocked, anxious 
and frustrated because I get to take on yet more 
work that isn't mine...

Sure wish I had Tiger Eye's whip here, beat a 
few "pumpkins"....
