Sounds like the forum is somewhat divided on this 
one. 
 I see both sides, it does kinda sound like an 
auction when you get into counter offers. If you 
have a few with a "war" of offers going on maybe 
you should consider placing it on auction with 
ebay??...just a thought...of coarse DO explain 
the those making the offers WHY you chose to do 
that. I HATE it when someone says "accepting 
offers"..then instead of accepting any offers 
they place the cels on ebay. It's like they were 
just on a "fishing" expedition :( 
  But if the seller emailed me or placed a note 
on the page saying this cels has a LOT of offers 
so to make it easier on myself I listed it on 
ebay...that I could understand after all if 
there's a bidding war going on your being 
inundated with emails!

  I also think I'd like to know if my offer were 
too low so I could decide if I want to go higher. 
Although if I REALLY want a cel I actually tell 
the person that I NEED this cel and WILL pay 
whatever!!
