Many thanks to a friend (you know who you are)
for urging me to post about this.
Mary Walker purchased a cel set from me on
November 22nd. In my auction I stated that I
must have payment within 10 days of auction end,
unless you have made arrangements with me
beforehand.
Two days after auction close, Mary emails me to
tell me she will have payment to me no later than
this Friday.
On this Friday, she then tells me that her mother
has been in a car accident, and that her computer
is now on the fritz.
Now.... I'm not heartless, but having been in
dire emergencies where my father has had a
stroke, where I've been in a car accident, I can
only remember ONE time *which is on my ebay
record* that I was unable to pay for an auction,
thus resulting in negative feedback from a car
accident I was in and sustained some injuries
from.
In the cases where I had family emergencies, i
was still able to pay for auctions ON TIME. You
do not call up credit card agencies or other
bills (gas/electric) to tell them you cannot pay
for their services on time and expect them to
say "oh sure, no problem, we wont cut off your
power".
After some thought, if Mary is watching this
post, Mary, I'm sorry but I will not be selling
you the cel set, and I will be banning you from
any of my further auctions.
