I go to the shop every 2-4 weeks because I go to 
ucla, and yes, sadly, I just found out two days 
ago that's it's closing.

They weren't doing well as they had been in 
Torrance, California.  Speaking for myself, the 
Torrance branch had a lot lot lot more stuff than 
they had in the Santa Monica branch.  The Santa 
Monica branch had more items rather than the tons 
of manga they used to carry.  I bought titles as 
old as Glass Mask from the Torrance branch.

They said that they'll be going to San 
Francisco.  
I'm really disappointed and sad by this because 
this was what happened to Animate down on Melrose 
(I was frequenting that shop too).

*sighs*  I didn't like this shop only because it 
was cheap, but that they had so many things to 
offer.  I found so many things as an x, tokyo 
babylon, clamp, and rumiko takahashi fan that 
could never be found just on the internet.  
Posters, cels...

I hope that they'll have better luck in the 
future.  I've been a happy customer for two-three 
years.  I discovered what clamp was due to them.
