I don't know how deep you all have been in the
preservation of cels, but I have for quite awhile
been layering unstuck cels with good ole store
bought wax paper (the sandwich wrap variety).
As cels have a bad tendency to stick to one
another, especially in hot humid
environments, the wax paper is a great neutral
layer. There seems to be quite a bit in
collecting favorite cels, yet many a time I've
purchased great cels from all over the world
with the tragedy of the layered cels being stuck
to one another, or to the background painting.
Hopefully there can be a dialog in keeping
cels pristine. This certainly can't hurt as the
value of the cel is safeguarded from un |
