Cels are differant from those kind of painting
described in the article : Black lines are flashed
on the plastic sheet using a kind of photocopier.
That mean that a ink powder is applied on the
support by using strong light. For that reason,
this powder is much more sensitive to UV and will
degrade (turn brown, fade aways) when exposed to
it.
By the way, anti-UV glass usualy don't filter more
than 30-60% of the UV. And other kind of bright
light will also affect the cel in the long term.
But using this kind of glass and keeping the cel
in a place where there isn't direct sunlight will
slow down the alteration a lot.
