Escaflowne.

I'd seen the TV cels and the art did NOT impress 
me. Several people on this board endlessly gushed 
about it, somehow making me less interested in 
seeing it. My best friend was buying it as it was 
released here and said it was great. Another 
Forum member (hi Lizzard! ^_^) *sent me* copies 
of her tapes of it and they gathered dust on my 
computer desk as I kept finding excuses not to 
watch them. . .

Then the movie came out here in Boston and I was 
ordered by self-same Forum member to get off my 
duff (rather, onto it) and WATCH THE TV SERIES, 
so to better enjoy the movie. (Originally, I had 
no interest in the movie. . . I was only going 
because I wanted to meet Lizzard. ^_^)

So, procrastinating until almost the last minute, 
I finally sat down and watched the whole 26 
episode TV series in one fell swoop. The result 
is that my new update WILL have a page for 
Escaflowne. Albeit, only movie cels have crept 
into my collection so far -- I liked the TV 
series better, but. . . it's the noses. ^_^;; (But
I have seen TV cels that have tempted me. ^_~)

Now I'm just planning the right moment to snag a 
domestic DVD set of it.
