Disclaimer: no cels were harmed in the making of
keychains.
I went to walmart today to find materials for
the window cling idea. Although I didn't find
what I was looking for, I did find sheets of
shrinkable plastic. For those of you who can
recall the era of shrinky-dinks, you can color
this thin plastic with color pencils or
permanent markers, cut them out, then bake them
in the oven. The baking both shrinks them and
makes them thicker, thus making perfect
keychains. Below is a keychain I made off of a
Xelloss cel sketch/cel. The to-scale image of
the cel can be found at the URL link.
The only problem is that the blank shrinkable
plastic is only around 1/3 the size of a
standard sheet of paper, so only small images
will work. On the plus side, 2 sheets of the
blank plastic is only 99 cents.
