Hi,

I used to work at an animation studio and they 
had a vault for film cels that was temerature 
controled. It stayed at about 75 F and was kept 
very dry. Exposure to sunlight without anti UV 
ray glass , or storing them on regular paper 
(must be acid free!) will damage cels too.
