2002 was a wonderful year for my collection -- I
crossed a few items off my wishlist, found a
couple of wonderful new shows to collect from,
picked up a couple of cels from scenes so cool
that I hadn't even bothered to put them on my
wishlist (figuring that even if I did find them,
I'd never be able to tempt them away from the
previous owners), and even crossed off one of my
Seven Deadly Cels.  *happy!*

But oddly enough, the one item which made me
squeal the loudest and dance the most isn't a cel
at all, but a set of genga and douga of my
favorite character in my favorite scene of him
from the digitally-colored anime Full Metal
Panic.  If I had a Seven Deadly list for
sketches, this would have to be the top three or
four items on its own, just to give the impression
of how much I would have loved to find it.  To
actually have it in my hands is an incredible
thrill.  ^_^

So the point of this whole rambling explanation is
that I just can't bring myself to pick a cel this
year.  That honor goes instead to this genga of
Kurz, doing his best to look sexy on the cover of
The Tag.
