Hello there - just some advice please?
I have come into a genuine signed Miyazaki
production cel scene from the 1992 movie Porco
Rosso. As you may know it was only theatrically
released in Japan, and then in 1995 in France.
It was this release which enabled a girlfriend
of a friend to travel to Japan in her capacity
as reporter for a French magazine to attend a
press event at Ghibli.
It was here that she obtained the cels and got a
dated signature from Miyazaki himself. The cels
are from the same scene (there are 4 cels in
total with background papaer) but not quite the
same frame - Porco himself lifts his hand up a
couple of seconds earlier to greet a previous
guest. That said it still looks great and as it
has been stored well the colours are fantastic.
It also comes with the original envelope where
it has been stored since the signing.
Just wondering what your opinions would be worth
in a possible value should I come to wish to
sell it.
Also thanks for all members posts which I often
read - you all seem very well informed and are
obviously true fans!
Thanks again - Paul
