There are some shops with anime goods here, but I 
don't know how many have cels.  The only one I 
know of that might even have a few cels (they 
used to, at least, a few years ago) is R&K Comics 
in Sunnyvale.  If you're looking for manga or 
cds, go to Mitsuwa Market place on Sunnyvale-
Saratoga Rd. near San Jose.  Actually, it may 
have changed its name again, but there's a 
Kinokuya (sp?) bookstore there with tons of 
manga...  However, if you can get manga at home, 
or even online, it might be cheaper, since the 
sales tax here is pretty high (8.25%... ouch!).  
San Francisco probably has some anime shops, 
especially in Japan town, or in the Sony Metreon 
building, but I don't know about any beyond 
that.  And there's a shop called Nikkaku that's I 
think in San Jose that is an anime-centric store, 
but I don't think they have cels.
