wow.  i've never had anything but the best luck 
with offers, though i usually have a price in 
mind for most of the cels i sell.  some i list on 
my page *with* the price, and others i'll wait 
for the first offer that is anywhere near what i 
was hoping to get for the cel.  

the whole offer/counter-offer/counter-counter-
offer thing is a huge pain.  if you're looking to 
pit sellers against each other in an auction-like 
scenario, then just go with e-bay.  but if you 
have a pretty good idea what the cel is worth and 
want to complete a quick, smooth sale, either 
post a price, or take the first sensible offer 
that hits your mailbox.  

and remember, some buyers might prefer the ebay 
format, but you run a greater risk of being stuck 
with a loony buyer too.  the cel community is 
nice in that it's small enough for us 'police' 
ourselves.  you lose that little security when 
you swim the murky e-bay waters.
