Boy, I can say that I have "yet" to have alost cel
from a deputy service (knocking on wood), but I
really don't like using them as they tend to get
expensive. I also tend to not trust "others" with
my money for that particular reason AND you do
have to sign that if a package gets
lost/damaged/etc, they hold no responsibility.
One thing I can think of that a deputy service
should be able to do is file a claim with Yahoo
Japan, but that would be too much trouble for
them, right (sarcasm)??? If Yahoo Japan is the
same a Yashoo Auctions, they should have a buyer
protection service available for transactions that
go wrong.
Another thing I would do is file a claim with my
credit card company or paypal. Even thoeugh they
are the "intermediate" service, they should be
able to complete a transaction and you can refuse
to pay them if they didn't live up to their end of
the deal. You may not be able to get the $$ for
your cels, but you should definitely get every
penny of those fees back!
If you don't mind me asking, which deputy
service(s) are you referring to? I know some of
you may not want to post it to protect their
idetity, but I think it would help a lot of people
who do use that service to know about it and will
be able to proceed with more caution (like the
Better Business Bureau investigating bad
businesses and and warning other people about it).
