Hi everyone ^_^

I have an important question to ask you.
When I started cel collection 3 years ago or so, 
I decided that each of my cels should be as 
gorgeous as possible, which meant "having 
backgrounds". So I printed some backgrounds 
which were for sale at that time (in very 
low "gloomy" resolution) and put them behind my 
own cels. And it is gorgeous!!! This was 
supposed to stay private so I wasn't cheating at 
all. Since that time I found another way and 
stopped doing this.

But now I'm scanning all my cels as I'm creating 
my own gallery. And I would like to keep these 
particuliar cels the way they are, if possible.

So I would like to scan them the way they are 
and put a note on the front page explaining the 
situation (and notifying a special mark on these 
cels) and asking to the owners of these 
backgrounds (or people knowing the owners) to 
contact me to see if I can have their 
authorization for using these bad prints or buy 
the original ones if they don't have a use for 
them.

Do you think this would be fair??? Or can you 
propose me another solution as I really don't 
want to "steal" other's property.

Please help me and give me your opinion.
