I am going to Anime Central as well (my first 
ever con!), and joined the mailing list for 
Acen, and proposed this very same 
questions....unfortunatly, there is 
no "official" cel gathering at the moment, 
although I guess we should all be on the look 
out for fliers at the con advertising one for 
Friday or Saturday.  Here is the e-mail that I 
received:

done this year cause it was
not suggested :(  Poopie!  Anyway, I am willing 
to and perhaps Roderick will
also host an informal get-together of cel 
collections where you can show off
your collection and perhaps do trades if so 
wished.  It may not be in the
program book or in the schedule, but watch for 
flyers at the bulletin boards
around the convention for a place and a 
time.  :)  It'll probably be more
like sometime in the evening Fri or Sat.  :)

I know that I would like to attend any kind of 
cel-related event at the con, and have already 
contacted one other person who collects cels who 
I may be meeting with..so maybe before the con 
an unofficial place could be set up for members 
of this forum to meet?
