I'm not sure if its the same Korean studio, 
but... its said they reproduced Ghibli cels, 
mainly Mononoke cels.  This happened about 2 or 3 
years ago, they showed up in stores, on yahoo 
japan, and who knows if many were sold privately.

It may be still there. Mandarake has a section on 
their jp site, where they post warnings for 
counterfeit items. It was said that the quality 
was so good, even some of the experts had 
problems figuring them out.
