I've tried to bid several times on items from 
series that I've liked. And somehow or rather, I 
just couldn't seem to be able to load/refresh 
that page to check the current bid status. It 
doesn't show error messages or anything, just 
VERY VERY slow loading.

On that very same time, I thought the traffic was 
slow on YJ pages, thus, I went ahead to click on 
another auction and it loaded almost instantly. I 
went back to the same problematic auction page 
again and it takes more than 2 mins to load. I 
thought it had something to do with the last 
minute counting down that might have slowed down 
the speed of loading the page. Well, I played the 
test again by loading an auction that's almost 
ending, amazingly enough, it loaded instantly!

I thought, "Hell man, I'm not going to be able to 
place a bid on time if this continues". I have 
never had problems like these before. Only for 2 
auctions and they weren't even HOT items. (Not 
many bids on it)

What was that that's creaking underneath??!!? I 
don't understand or have I been too sensitive 
about the topic?
