I was checking out director Hideaki Anno's 
official website ( 
http://www.gainax.co.jp/hills/anno/ ) that I 
found after going to GAINAX's official site. And 
what was it I found there? Why none other than a 
gigantic poster on the main page of Shinji 
holding Rei Ayanmi in his arms with the big title 
Evangelion RESTART on the poster. 


Now I got all excited and thought for a small 
second, could he possibly be releasing a follow-
up to the events in End of Evangelion. Ahh, but 
no. I was wrong (too bad). It looks like in Japan 
they're releasing a box set of all the Evangelion 
episodes with a TON of extra features that us 
unlucky americans will probably be unable to 
enjoy. Interviews with cast, storyboards, 
alternative endings, notes from the director. All 
kinds of extra info I would've loved to have seen 
in our american dvd releases.
