That's always a good question, though -- why does
one game get completed and released, and another
one end up shelved halfway through production? In
this case, I think the company got cold feet on
releasing a game from a less-popular genre
(adventure), based entirely on topical humor. Too
short of a projected shelf life. Of course, I
could be dead wrong on that, but it's my best
guess based on murmurings heard at the time.
Since I don't want to sound depressing, though,
here's a cute piece from a game which was released
(also hand-animated and CG colored), by the same team.
