anime chaos loves his cels and i am sure it's
difficult for him to part with them, thus the high
prices.
plus, i remember hearing how much he paid for some
of them and they were not cheap.  i think people
took advantage of him back then, because they knew
how much he loved ryoko, so they overcharged him
and now he is just passing those prices on.
