You can try Netscapes browser which has a popup 
stopping feature (and its free:). But in the long 
run you may want to invest in a good security 
package like nortons internet security or 
zonealarm or blackice. These have features that 
will block all the popups put also prevent any 
malware from ever slipping past. :)
