Actually, the vast majority of cels in our 
personal collection pre-date 1990... A lot of the 
reason for this is because the older shows are 
the ones we used to watch as kids - so they have 
a kind of sentimental value for us.

One of my favorites is this cel of Princess Farla 
(Allura) from Hyaku Juu Oh Golion (Voltron), 
circa 1981. Unfortunately, she's faded quite a 
bit - but that's to be expected with Toei cels of 
this age... The great part about this cel is that 
she's got one of her pet space mice shown (I 
think this is the ONLY cel I've ever seen with 
them together). 

Sorry for the grainy picture - I actually haven't 
had a chance to scan this yet - just snapped a 
quick pic with a digital camera.
