To be honest, whenever I get a little cash ahead 
or receive a windfall from writing I do, I get a 
pleasant little tingle in the wallet area of my 
backside.  That's when I start lurking for nice 
stuff.  I've learned not to just get the first 
nice $100 cel just because that's what's in my 
wallet: I've been disappointed that way.  But if 
I'm patient, and let my wallet tingle pleasantly 
for a couple of weeks, then usually I can indulge 
it and get a good deal.

That's better than the common habit of plunging 
for a wish cel on impulse, then having to finance 
it with a distress sale on cels you previous got 
in the same way.
