Back before some of the folks here were even 
around, a NY spanish channel used to lease time 
to Japanese broadcasting on weekend nights, and 
during dawn hours M-F.  I got to see a big chunk 
of the QM series.  Liked it much better than the 
movie, even though the art in the movie is 
somewhat nicer and the characters more "elegant". 
Might even have a couple of so-so reception eps 
on my oldest tapes (in the pile to be converted 
to disk one*of*these*days!)
