Yep...That's a great Sawa, and a really nice 
price for a great face shot too =)!

I was looking at that earlier and wondering about 
that tape as well.  KITE isn't old so I don't 
think the tape will be degraded down to the point 
where it's lost enough of it's tackiness to just 
fall off.  

But...I dunno if it's just me...But that tape on 
the bottom doesn't look like it's really attached 
to the background much...if any.The tape at the 
top can be removed without damaging the painted 
part of the background.  If the tape is on 
there...YES...You do run a high risk of taking 
the paint on the background with it.  So...It's 
up to you.You can always take a chance on it and 
see if it's salvageable or not.

But...If you like the cel and the image itself 
well enough...Then this sort of thing can be 
looked over.  So...It's up to you!
